Ivan I. Vedyakov – Scientist
Graduated from MISI named after Valerian V. Kuibyshev (now – MGSU) in 1982 and then completed postgraduate studies with a degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering in 1990.
Mr. Vedyakov is an acknowledged specialist in the field of the development of standards, calculation methods, design and inspection of building metal structures, metal science and welding. He developed new methods for calculating steel bendable elements and struts (columns), principles for assessing the structural strength of rolled products taking into account the structure of the material, etc. Since 1985 he has worked for the JSC Research Center of Construction, Research Institute of Building Constructions (TSNIISK) named after V. A. Koucherenko, and became its President in 2010.
